Ceramco is a privately owned corporation that has been manufacturing custom ceramic components for industry since its inception by Anders F. Henriksen in 1982. The injection molding process we use can produce complex geometries with ease, including internal and external threads, which are desirable features for many technical ceramics or advanced ceramics to have. Ceramco have a variety of different ceramic materials to offer customers where aluminum oxide ceramic (alumina) is the most common ceramic material we use.
Ceramco use aluminum tooling that is less expensive by orders of magnitude in comparison to high pressure tools, which are typically made of expensive carbide steel. Injected parts are fired in custom-made furnaces and fully equipped grind shop enables us to meet the tightest tolerances. Ceramco entire ceramic manufacturing operation resides in a modern 10,350 square foot facility and commitment to quality at all phases of the ceramic manufacturing and shipping process is second to none.
